Nova Sintra, Dec 12 (Bravanews) - Students from the Nossa Senhora do Monte School practice open-air gymnastics in a dirt space, while the local multipurpose facility is closed.

Closed for over a year and a half for works, the Nossa Senhora do Monte multipurpose facility, owned by the Brava City Council, has been used for physical education classes for local students.

But with the works, students have been practicing gymnastics classes in the open, in an earthen space, with great potential for injuries and getting their whole body, clothes and school belongings dirty.

Parents and guardians are disgusted with this neglect and lack of interest on the part of educational and city authorities to resolve this issue.

Contacted, President Francisco Tavares said that by the end of January, the Nossa Senhora do Monte multipurpose facility will be operational for use by young people and children in the parish.
