The Minister of Culture and Creative Industries will visit Brava Island between December 13th and 15th.
City of Nova Sintra, December 14, 2025 (Bravanews) - The Brava Municipal Council (CMB) announced a working visit by the Minister of Culture and Creative Industries, Augusto Veiga, to Brava Island, between December 13 and 15, 2025. The trip is part of the strengthening of institutional dialogue with the cultural sector and the analysis of the island's creative and heritage potential.
During the visit, the governor will follow a diverse agenda that includes an official visit to the Brava City Hall, as well as a meeting with the island's cultural associations and artists. This meeting is considered central to the program, as it allows for direct consultation with cultural stakeholders, the exchange of ideas, and the identification of challenges and opportunities for the development of creative industries in Brava.
The program also includes visits to emblematic and culturally significant spaces, such as the Brava Interpretive Center and the 7 Suns 7 Moons Center, as well as a stop at the Eugénio Tavares Museum and several historical sites that reflect the richness and uniqueness of Brava's cultural heritage.
In a statement, the Brava Municipal Council (CMB) emphasizes that this visit represents an important opportunity to showcase Brava's culture nationally, strengthen partnerships, and promote initiatives that contribute to the enhancement of local identity.
