Brava: Car completely destroyed after being set on fire by an unidentified individual
A car belonging to aluminum businessman Patrick de Pina, resident in Cova de Joana, Brava, was completely destroyed by fire, which according to him, was set by an individual who has not yet been identified.
As the owner of the Honda vehicle explained, everything would have happened this Saturday, 9th, when he and his work colleague were not at home because they had gone to get a haircut at a barbershop.
“My colleague managed to get a haircut before me and went home. But when he was close to the house he saw smoke and ran to see what it was, finding the car on fire. The individual who caused the fire felt his presence, threw a container containing gasoline and fled,” he reported.
At this point, my friend tried to run after the suspect who entered the woods, however, he was unable to catch up or identify him.
“Soon afterwards he returned to try to put out the fire, but he was unable to control it, considering that the flame broke out very quickly, completely consuming the vehicle”, he highlighted.
Patrick de Pina said he has “no idea” who did this “cruelty”, as he has no enemies and does his job with “responsibility and respect” and did not expect this “evil” would happen to him.
“They used gasoline to cause and start the fire and as a result it was not even possible to remove some of the belongings that were inside the car. The authorities were on site at the time of the incident and have already done their job, however, now I hope that the criminal is identified and that justice is served”, he concluded.
