This new Health Center “will allow the island to have one more element of security in the provision of health, in the guarantee of having quality services close by, thus reducing the asymmetries of access to health, which guarantees to place Brava on another level” , listed the chief executive, confident that the Government “has taken another very important step for the future of the island”.

“It is not just a health center, but almost a smaller hospital, thus responding to the great expectations of the people of Brave here on the island, and of emigrants, who want to feel more secure in the health care system”, said the mayor, adding the possibility that with the materialization of the project there will be more emigrants looking for their home island for their holidays and even to live after retirement.

For the population of Brava, the implementation of this project will constitute “a great gain” not only for Brava, but for the whole country, as with a new health center with all these valences, it will allow for more consultations and specialty exams in the area. island, as well as ensuring better care, thus avoiding travel to the island of Fogo or Praia, which always entails higher costs.
