CV Interilhas suspends Santiago/Fogo/Brava connections due to bad weather and maintains restrictions on other routes

In a statement, the company justifies the decision on the basis of the Maritime Meteorological Bulletin of the National Institute of Meteorology and Geophysics (INMG), which points to a significant worsening of weather conditions in the inter-island sectors.

In addition to the suspension of the route to Fogo and Brava, CV Interilhas has informed that trips on the Redonda Line (São Vicente/São Nicolau/Sal/Boa Vista/Santiago) and the Triangular Line (São Vicente/São Nicolau/Santiago) continue to be interrupted, thus maintaining the operational restrictions previously announced.

The company assured that it is permanently monitoring the evolution of the sea state and guaranteed that operations will resume as soon as the necessary conditions for safe navigation are met.

CV Interilhas also stressed that the safety of passengers, crew and vessels is its top priority.
