Employee denounces dismissal from dental clinic and raises questions about employment rights on the island of Brava
Cidade de Nova Sintra, April 4, 2026 (Bravanews) - Bebey Oliveira, an employee with around 15 years of service at the dental clinic on the island of Brava, has come out publicly to denounce her dismissal, alleging injustice and a lack of recognition for her years of dedication to the institution.
In an outburst shared on social media, the former employee says that she never used to expose her personal life, but felt compelled to clarify the situation. According to her account, she was recently dismissed after having worked at the clinic from 2011 until March 2026.
The employee guarantees that she has always carried out her duties with responsibility and professionalism, stressing that she has never stolen from or treated any patient badly throughout her career. "The reason for her dismissal is unfounded," she says, implying that the decision may have been influenced by external or personal factors.
In addition, she is indignant at what she considers to be the lack of compensation or recognition for her 15 years of work, questioning the way she has been treated after so long a period of service. "I have my rights," she laments, highlighting a possible labor conflict.
Despite the situation, the former employee says she remains calm and has faith, believing that justice will prevail. She also expressed her gratitude for the support she has received from various people in the community, who have shown her solidarity at this difficult time.
This case once again raises the debate about workers' rights on the island of Brava and the need for greater transparency in labor relations, especially in health institutions, where the dedication and commitment of professionals is fundamental.
