Employees from the Technical and Accounting Office of the Brava City Council were heard as witnesses.
Employees linked to the Technical Office and the accounting sector of the Brava City Council were summoned this Tuesday, the 25th, to give statements as witnesses in the process that is running its legal course at the Central Department of Criminal Action (DCAP) of the Attorney General's Office.
The investigation focuses on alleged crimes of influence peddling and active corruption, and the defendants include the former mayor of Brava, Francisco Tavares, the contractor Ideal Louro, and eight other people.
According to information gathered, the witnesses were heard throughout the day today at the facilities of the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Brava District, as part of the ongoing investigations.
