Galito Restaurant closes its doors as of May 31st
To our valued customers and friends of Galito: it is with great regret that we inform you that we will be closing our doors as Restaurante Galito from May 31st at 21:00. We have made a deal with a Massachusetts-based company that is currently expanding several restaurants. The reason for our sale was to retire full-time, and now more than ever, we're focusing on our family, and our health, as we'll be growing as a family in the coming months. Family first, always.
One of our priorities was our commitment to our loyal customers and to honoring certificates. If anyone wants to take advantage of our existing menu until May 31 with any outstanding certificates, feel free to do so. However, part of our agreement with the new owners is that Galito's certificates will be accepted until May 31, 2026 at our facility at 214 Columbus Ave in Pawtucket. Please remember that after May 31, 2025, we will not be responsible for the new owners' menu, which may not be Portuguese cuisine.
We would like to sincerely thank all of our dedicated and loyal customers over the years, and a special thanks to our current employees for their dedication to our family business. It was clear that many appreciated our food, presentation and service over the years, especially during Christmas, Easter, Mother's Day, etc. We have done our best to serve you and have tried to be good benefactors to our Pawtucket community and the Portuguese Community.
Thank you for your loyalty to the Galito brand - whether it's buying takeout, eating in the restaurant, ordering trays on all holidays to put on your family's table, buying a certificate, taking advantage of our daily takeout tray deals or even stopping by for a quick espresso - WE THANK YOU! Galito wouldn't have been so successful and wouldn't be what it is without your incredible support over all these years.
