São João Brava 2025 Football Tournament: Emotions at their Fingertips in the Penultimate Round
The São João Brava 2025 Football Tournament is in full swing and, yesterday, the Aquiles de Oliveira Stadium was the scene of great moments of emotion, reunion and sporting spectacle, in the second and penultimate round of the main phase. The afternoon began with an exciting duel between the teams of Velhas Glórias da Furna and Nossa Senhora do Monte. The game ended in a 2-2 draw, but it was much more than the result. It was a true spectacle of nostalgia and passion, where the veterans showed that their talent and competitive spirit are still alive. More than a match, it was a moment of celebration - a unique opportunity to see idols from the past shine once again and relive the magic of soccer with the fervent support of the fans.

Next up, the senior men's game between Furna and Nossa Senhora do Monte took the emotion to the limit. After trailing 2-0, the Furna team showed a different attitude in the second half and pulled off a spectacular comeback, winning 4-2. With this result, the final matchday between Nova Sintra and Furna promises to be a real early final, as both teams - in both the senior and old glories tiers - still have a chance of winning the trophy.
Today, from 6pm, the party continues at the Polivalente de Santana with the second round of the elimination phase. The public will be able to watch four matches: two in the men's senior group and two in the women's, further increasing the anticipation surrounding the semi-finals.
