Orfeão da Brava enchants the city of Praia in activities promoted by the Ladies of Our Lady of Grace
The Orfeão da Brava, made up of 21 members, was present in the city of Praia at the invitation of the Ladies of Our Lady of Grace, taking part in various cultural and religious activities that mobilized the community.
The group shone at different moments in the program, with highlights including performances at the Catholic Church, in marches through the streets of Plateau and a special presentation at the Djeu View residential/restaurant.
With a repertoire that extolled the great mornas of the island of Brava, the Orfeão won over the audience and reaffirmed the role of music as a link to identity and cultural appreciation.
The group's participation was enthusiastically received, demonstrating the importance of initiatives that bring Cape Verdean communities together around faith, tradition and music.
