Cape Verde's Prime Minister to take part in event on global economic challenges in Boston

Boston (USA) - The Prime Minister of Cape Verde, José Ulisses Correia e Silva, will be in Boston on September 29 to take part in the seminar "Small Island States in an Uncertain Global Economy", organized by the Boston University Global Development Policy Center.
The meeting, which will take place at the Metcalf Trustee Center, will bring together academics, policymakers and members of the international community to discuss the challenges faced by small island states in the current global economic scenario.
During the session, Correia e Silva is expected to address Cape Verde's journey since 2016, highlighting the political reforms and sustainable economic growth achieved by the archipelago.
The event will also feature opening remarks from the president of Boston University, Melissa L. Gilliam, and aims to reinforce the importance of international cooperation and the role of small island nations in the debate on development and sustainability.
